In Zeiten, in denen Rassismus und Antisemitismusin unserer Gesellschaft
wieder aufleben, <\/strong>ist es notwendig, an die schlimmen Folgen zu erinnern,
<\/strong>die dieser menschenverachtende Ha\u00df ausl\u00f6sen kann.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Zur Zeit des Nationalsozialismus haben sich vieleMenschen den Nazis
entgegengestellt <\/strong>und haben f\u00fcr ihr mutiges Engagement mit extremen Folgen
bis zum Verlust des eigenen Lebens daf\u00fcr bezahlen m\u00fcssen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Besonders viele Geistliche, Priester und Ordens-angeh\u00f6rige, die den Ungeist der Nazis
fr\u00fchzeitig erkannten und versuchten diesem mutig entgegenzu treten, erfuhren deshalb
Lehrverbot, Redeverbot,Gef\u00e4ngnis, k\u00f6rperliche Mi\u00dfhandlungen und in vielen F\u00e4llen
eine Einlieferung in Konzentrationslager, mit Hunger, Folter, Krankheit und Zwangsarbeit
bis zum Tod durch Ersch\u00f6pfung oder Hinrichtung.<\/p>\n

Wer sich heute auf die Spuren dieser Menschenbegibt,
findet viele Zeugnisse ihres Wirkens, von Glaubensst\u00e4rke, Selbstlosigkeit und Mut.<\/p>\n

1700 Jahre j\u00fcdisches Leben in Deutschland<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Der zunehmende Antisemitismus war der Anlass f\u00fcr einen Dokumentarfilm<\/strong>
\u00fcber die 1700-j\u00e4hrige Geschichte der j\u00fcdischen Religion in Deutschland.<\/strong>
Der Film zeigt hierbei, neben einer umfangreichen Dokumentation \u00fcber die
Geschichte der Juden in ganz Deutschland, die ab dem Jahr 321 n.Chr. belegt ist,
die besondere Bedeutung von Rheinland-Pfalz, <\/strong>wo viele wichtige historische
St\u00e4tten des Judentums zu finden sind.
<\/strong>So wurden z.B. im Jahr 2021 die drei SCHUM-St\u00e4dte
Speyer, Worms <\/strong>und Mainz in das Weltkulturerbe der UNESCO aufgenommen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Der gut recherchierte 80-min\u00fctige Film auf DVD bietet eine spannende Dramaturgie,
die dazu geeignet ist, auch bei Sch\u00fclern und Laien Interesse f\u00fcr das Thema zu wecken.<\/p>\n

Der Westwall im Eifelkreis Bitburg-Pr\u00fcm

Der sogenannte Westwall sollte eine rund 630 km lange Befestigungslinie
zur Absicherung der westlichen Reichsgrenze werden. Ab 1936 waren
Hunderttausende von Arbeitern damit besch\u00e4ftigt dieses gigantische
Bollwerk zwischen Kleve und Basel zu errichten.
Doch trotz seiner 20.000 Bunker erf\u00fcllte der Westwall seine Aufgabe als
Defensivbauwerk jedoch nicht und wurde im Februar 1945 von den
angreifenden alliierten Truppen auf breiter Front durchbrochen.
An vielen Orten inmitten der idyllischen Landschaft der Eifel findet man
auch heute noch die Spuren von zerst\u00f6rten Bauwerken, Bunkern und Panzersperren.
Besonders zahlreich sind diese Artefakte im Westen des Eifelkreis Bitburg-Pr\u00fcm
und entlang der Grenze zwischen Deutschland, Belgien und Luxemburg.
Als stumme Zeugen einer dunklen Epoche sind sie heute Mahnmale zum Frieden.
Vielerorts hat sich die Natur die Bunkeranlagen erobert und \u00e4hnlich den
\u00dcberresten von versunkenen Schiffen, bilden sie heute einen wertvollen
R\u00fcckzugsort f\u00fcr selten gewordene Pflanzen und Tiere.<\/p>\n

1300 Jahre Bitburg<\/span><\/h1>\n<\/div>\n
\n
\n

Eigentlich ist die Stadt Bitburg ja viel \u00e4lter als 1300 Jahre,
aber die erste urkundliche Erw\u00e4hnung der Stadt im Jahre
715 war f\u00fcr die Bitburger auf jeden Fall ein Grund zum Feiern.<\/p>\n

Schon die R\u00f6mer bauten die ersten Stadtbefestigungen,
deren imposante \u00dcberreste heute noch gut erhalten sind.
Im zweiten Weltkrieg wurde die Stadt fast v\u00f6llig zerst\u00f6rt
und von den Amerikanern zur toten Stadt erkl\u00e4rt.
Aber mit dem Bau der US Airbase in den 1950er Jahren
erbl\u00fchte die Stadt zu neuem Leben und sie entwickelt
sich auch heute \u2013 2 Jahrzehnte nach dem Abzug der
Amerikaner immer noch sehr positiv weiter.<\/p>\n

Der Film erz\u00e4hlt die Geschichte der Stadt von der Keltenzeit
bis heute und gibt einen Eindruck von den vielen Veranstaltungen
und Ereignissen im Jubil\u00e4umsjahr.<\/p>\n

Die moderne Kardiologie entwickelt immer ausgefeiltere
Verfahren um Herzkrankheiten zu behandeln. Die Therapie
von Herzklappenerkrankungen im Herzkatheterlabor ist ein
weiterer Hightech-Baustein der Behandlungsm\u00f6glichkeiten
und bietet speziell f\u00fcr Hochrisikopatienten eine weniger

Mit der Entwicklung der modernen Herzchirurgie
entstand vor ca. 50 Jahren der Bedarf f\u00fcr eine qualifizierte
Bedienung der f\u00fcr die meisten Operationen am Herzen
unverzichtbaren Herz-Lungenmaschine. Hieraus entwickelte
sich das heute sehr umfangreiche Arbeitsfeld des Kardiotechnikers.
Jedes Jahr profitieren in Deutschland ca. 100.000 Menschen
(darunter ca 4.000 Kinder) von ihrer verantwortungsvollen
Arbeit. Beim Einsatz eines Herzschrittmachers, einer
Bypass-Operation, einem Herzklappenersatz oder einer
Herz-Transplantation, liegt das Leben der Patienten
f\u00fcr die Zeit der Operation in ihren H\u00e4nden. Die DGfK
arbeitet an der Entwicklung von Qualifizierungsstandards und

Auf dem Soldatenfriedhof Kolmesh\u00f6he in Bitburg haben mehr als 2000
Soldaten und zivile Kriegstote der beiden letzten Weltkriege ihre letze
Ruhest\u00e4tte gefunden.
Der Film erz\u00e4hlt die Geschichte des Friedhofes und gibt mit
der Schilderung einzelner Schicksale dort bestatteter Soldaten
und Zivilisten einen Einblick in die bewegte Vergangenheit Bitburgs.
Besonderen Reiz erh\u00e4lt der Film durch die Erz\u00e4hlweise aus der
Perspektive eines dort auf dem Friedhof stehenden Baumes,
der die Weltgeschichte \u201eBlattnah\u201c erfuhr. <\/b>Die tiefe und markante
